One of my favorite articles back in the early days of
Byte Magazine was
Circuit Cellar which I'm happy to see is still available, both on the net and as a publication.
Cheez Doodles, glow in the dark munchy food which I, unfortunately, eat too many of (including the subject above, consumed right after the photo shoot). I wonder what kind of work it would be to be a
food photographer,
taste tester, or
Food Engineer.
At the store last night ordering a new garage door and started thumbing through a little (5x3x1/2 inch)
Pocket Ref. Most amazing reference I've ever seen! This is the kind of stuff I always thought should be in a PDA. No such luck, but the publisher also puts out a
Pocket PcRef among a number of other specialized industry references. Great stocking stuffer folks.
This week's map. NASA has
mapped out lightning activity across the world. The poles and the ocean are probably the best places to avoid it. If you can't avoid it at least there's a
support group to join.
An updated version of the elusive
