Just finishing up renovating a bedroom. Last year I put new floor down in the living room which required separate backing foam, glue, and lots of pounding and swearing. This time I went with Pergo Prodigy which I found at a nearby Home Depot. This stuff comes in big slats (app 11"x47") has the backing already attached and doesn't require glue. It looks pretty good, at least better than wood web table backgrounds look.

A series of energy related articles this morning from MIT's Technology Review. First there's an article on the current state of energy: Getting over oil. Then on to future power with the Land-Installed Marine-Powered Energy Transformer just installed on the Scottish isle of Islay from Wavegen. Meanwhile, for us waveless power consumers, the future is looking like it might be fuel cell powered or maybe solar power based on cheap, new plastics developed by Nobel Prize winner Alan Heeger.

Mr. See owned a saw.
And Mr. Soar owned a seesaw.
Now, See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw
Before Soar saw See,
Which made Soar sore.
Had Soar seen See's saw
Before See sawed Soar's seesaw,
See's saw would not have sawed
Soar's seesaw.
So See's saw sawed Soar's seesaw.
But it was sad to see Soar so sore
just because See's saw sawed
Soar's seesaw.
