"intentionally randomizes naturally occurring patterns to form entropy-like random sequences."
...in other words, a possible new lossless data compression.

I want a magnetic refrigerator.

Separated at birth? On Monday GM announces a new modular fuel cell car and Apple announces a new podular iMac, both claiming "nothing short of reinventing the [insert product category here]". I was sorta hoping for a fuel cell powered Mac...then I wouldn't have to leave my desk for a glass of fresh water.

iDrive

Actually, the new iMac could pass for a square steering wheel. GM mentions that their vehicles might be moving to drive-by-wire so why not let Apple develop the steering wheel? Who needs windows (pun intended) when the iWheel shows you where you are going (today)? Talk about a challenging user interface: thumbwheels to scroll the view, zoom control, toggle from live camera to 3d generated topographical map view, driving direction really COULD draw a yellow line that you follow, picture-in-picture for news, weather, or other camera angles, and of course iTunes onboard.
