Jake and I headed down to BOS airport Saturday to pick up his sister Chelsea who flew in from PHX via ORD. This was only Chelsea's second plane trip and her very first solo ride.

The next morning it was up at the crack of dawn (Arizona time) and off for a long hike. Here the intrepid hikers pause at a nearby snowmobile trail marker for a photo op. Uncle Jer took a pretty lousy photo and needed all the help he could get from photoshop to salvage this much.

It was a good hike. Good in that everyone collapsed at the end of it (Zeke included) and didn't really stir until it was time to eat dinner. We saw slugs, red efts, red spotted newts, an abundance of strange mushrooms, an Elk (in a fenced in area?), and the snail pictured below. There were lots of wild raspberries all along the hike to compliment our bag of Gorp.
