The Wizardry of Id is an article on the history behind Id software from IEEE Spectrum. Hey, I still have my Commander Keen 3.5" floppies. In fact I tried CK on my W2000 machine last month and it still works.

I've been looking at this since I took it last night and I see many things, but rarely do I see a tree.
It would be interesting to hear what people think they see and then what a second viewing produces.
If I stretch a little more, I can just get it...
