fridge oven In November last year I posted about clothes processors (washes & dries clothes in the same machine), which still seems like a pretty cool idea. Now Whirlpool is marrying a couple of unlikely appliances, refrigerator and oven, in their new Polara. Put the food in the oven in the morning and program it to be ready by evening. The oven keeps the food cold until it's time to cook and then change-o-cook-o it's an oven again. And like any good sentient appliance it will re-frigerate the meal if you are running late.
