Thursday evening, 1700 hours: after a long day at the office Zeke goes home for the evening meal, assorted cat-for-brains incidents, and a well deserved rest.
Friday morning, 0800 hours: upon entering the office Zeke notices a new odor, a signature if you will. He rushes about to investigate.
0802 hours: in addition to the tell-tail signature wafting through the air Zeke and his partner uncover more evidence at the scene of the crime, the biscuit box has been tampered with.
0804 hours: Zeke confirms that the few remaining biscuits are of the same batch and are, in fact, delicious. He pauses to mourn the loss.
0830 hours: the boss reports that a suspicious looking character entered the office late the previous evening. An additional puddle of evidence had been cleaned up by another co-worker.
0831 hours: given the nature of the crime and its perpetrator, the investigators come to the conclusion that they'd rather not retrieve the missing biscuits. Zeke expresses his desire to procure more biscuits...if only as a means to lure the culprit to a trap.
0832 hours: Biscuit plan shot down, Zeke grudgingly takes up the watch, hoping to spot the intruder and ward off future biscuit losses.
