New fangled hay bail tech

And here you were thinking that while city folk were getting smaller cell phones with built-in cameras and cappuccino stirring wands the rural folks were sitting idly by, fading into a technological dark age. No sirree. Witness the evolution of baling hay. First there was baling wire, almost as useful as duct tape in its own right, but soon supplanted by tougher, lighter (and colorful!) nylon twine. Nylon's reign didn't last all that long. Along came shrink wrapped round bales: engulfing the hay in big white sheets, making hay pills the size of a whale suppositories.

Well, hold on to your hat. Today's modern balers are wrapping their hay in a gossamer net of dental floss. Feed your livestock while keeping their teeth clean!
