A beautiful day today, almost hit 50°. I needed to think deep thoughts about software architecture and nothing beats a long walk. Zeke and I headed out, or should I say headed up and up and up. The first mile and half is a little steep on this particular route, enough so that I stopped and rested a couple of times.
No, no, stopped and tried to not have a stroke or spit my lungs out is much better description. That's a killer hill to start the year off with. It's safe to say that I didn't think many software thoughts until after the hill leveled off. The next few miles were easy, warm sun on our backs and crisp air. Most of the snow is melted, even in the woods, but not yet warm enough for mud season.
By now you've probably heard of the DARPA sponsored contest to see who can design an autonomous vehicle to travel over 200 miles. NPR has photos of some of these vehicles...including an autonomous motorcycle!
Maybe if he was in Wyoming hunting wolves instead of getting blown dry he would be happy.
