Let it go down on record that a chunk of software meticulously crafted by me is responsible for this earthworm waveform. It's an audio fade out written in ARM assembly. Unfortunately it really shouldn't look like the nether region of an earthworm. Back to the drawing board...or maybe it's the hardware guy's fault? ":^)
I am particularly tickled to have gotten the oscilloscope to trigger on the fade out of the wave. I haven't a clue how, it just started working that way.
