I'm considering changing the layout such that this homepage only shows the current day's entries. Of course there will still be a previous link to travel backwards in time and, for the adventurous, there's always "chronicle mode" (look in the zone controls on the right) which attempts to remember the last day you viewed and resume from there the next time you visit.
Thoughts? Good, bad, dunno? Leave a comment or send mail.
Space Weather shows a large sunspot rotating into view. It blasted a massive solar flare last week while pointed the other direction (away from us). Unfortunately it will be a week or more until we see sunshine or stars in New Hampshire. A pity since Jupiter now graces the early morning sky.
Wasn't there a guy in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who caused rain wherever he went? I'm working on becoming his apprentice. I'll entertain any offers of a free vacation to distant, exotic lands...in the interest of testing the theory, of course.
Sounds good to me, although I use the other feature chronically.
I like scrolling through a few days worth on one page...but then again, I haven't tried the chronicle mode much...
P
I also like seeing a few days worth of posts on one page. I hadn't tried the chronicle mode, but now that I know what it does, I will.
I like having a few days on one page. If I've missed a few days I don't have to click to get caught up.
*hack,hack*
Thanks, folks. Looks like I'll keep things the way they are.
