These photos were taken on the train while leaving Château D'oex and heading towards Spiez Switzerland (and then onward from there). We were on an older train, not the cool, new Golden Pass Panorama model we had taken a couple of days earlier. The nice thing about the older trains are the windows which can be opened most of the way.
I used the Nikon D70 with the 70mm-300mm lens and bounced back and forth from one side of the train to the other like a wayward superball. Eighty photos in less than half an hour.
Here's a suggestion: change your browser's default homepage to wikipedia. There's something new every day: some history, a bit of news, science, a little trivia, and, so far, no ads.
And speaking of home we just got back from vacation in Europe. We had a lovely time in France, Switzerland, and Germany. Pictures and details to follow.
Wow. I need to get out more.
Out of the house or out of the country?
Lately, out of the house. But a European visual feast is in the cards sometime in the near-ish future!
