Noel Perrin 1927-2004. Some of Noel's work.
I met Mr. Perrin once. We got together over coffee, to compare and discuss our respective electric cars. I'd read and enjoyed his book, Solo: Life with an electric car while building my electric car. Reading his first hand accounts of driving and operating an electric car, especially in our local winter climate, helped in making design decisions. By the time we met he had upgraded to a newer model, manufactured locally by a Vermont company.
In retrospect I'd have to say that his book and candid EV experiences inspired me to document and share my own EV building, both the good and the bad.
