At the dump, while trying to find room for trash in the burgeoning dumpsters, a lady in a short fur coat stepped around her truck and said, "Sure is cold!" Even though she smiled and seemed genuinely friendly my first thought was, "Stay away from my dog."

The guy at Staples when asked about a product, "We don't have it but it might be on our web site." Another employee told someone, "Have you checked Walmart?"

When I moved out east I was surprised at how many trucks had snowplows. Even more surprising was that no one used their plow on the roads, no matter how bad the storm.
