Very nice flower macro. Just right for a cold morning.

The thing I like about the Nikon is how it captures flower images in the macro setting. Then again the eye of the photographer is the one that truly captures! excellent shot ;-)

True, but no macro setting on this shot. I've been weaning myself off of auto modes and learning all of the low level controls.
That's why I come home from a long hike with a disk full of blue images! ":^)
Manual mode:
70mm, 0.4 sec, f/20, ISO 200
Shot inside my little homemade softbox using tungsten lights. White balance was set to pre and calibrated to a white card in the box.
I'll try and post a how zone article about the soft box soon. It's a handy thing.
