A work in progress....
The big storm moved through Monday and (thankfully) didn't dump tons of rain on us. Yesterday was sunny and warm, almost 45°f. I've been working at home, sequestered away in my basement office coding like a fiend. It wasn't until noon when I finally took a break and stepped outside. Nice!
For some reason the front of our house where the driveway attaches to the garage slopes down to the house. Which means the melt from the roof and driveway tends to ooze into the garage. I discovered that one of the snow shovels makes a great water scoop and you can shovel the puddles of water before they flow over into the garage.
And of course in the process of de-sloshing our driveway I noticed how cool the muddy water looks flying through the air. So I set up the tripod, D70 w/zoom lens, and got out the IR remote shutter control. A ladder was placed in the general area I was tossing the water and used to set focus. I set the camera for a fast shutter speed and remote trigger.
After that it was a matter of shoveling water and clicking the remote.
Well, that's all that I thought it would take. Frankly, focusing on flying froth is far from foolproof. Next time I'll grab an assistant.

Now imagine a black dog after a walk on a dirty road. the mud's-a-flyin'!
