Taken while laying flat on my back, about 8 foot under the feeder. Only after a few Chickadees flew over did I realize what a good "target" I was. Luckily no accidents.
Mom sent along a handful of shots from her, very active, hummingbird feeder out in Wyoming. This is the shot that caught my eye.
Whoa, nice angle!
I got my Birditure pic (which I now refer to as my "Major Award") and it looks great! Thanks!
I am Ted's sister in law. I have been enjoying your web site after Ted referred me ti it. I especially appreciate birds and flowers, and garden critters. Thanks for making my day.
Karen: glad you like the printout.
Sandy: welcome! No shortage of those photos around here...hope you like spiders.
That feeder at your mother's place looks like a busy airport. I am wondering what "protocol" they use to take turns at the feeder, it should be an interesting ethological question.
They are an aggressive lot, very territorial. It's like watching Top Gun in miniature.
