It was from the setting sun I believe. There were two rainbows, the primary one quite vivid, and they lasted for well over fifteen minutes. As the sun got lower the glow became brighter.
Tomorrow I'll post a picture of the sky/clouds looking the other direction. Quite an evening of color.

That "glow" is from the HUGE pot of GOLD there at the bottom of the rainbow!

Cool shot! Do you think that glow had anything to do with the rainbow, or was it from some other source (that's what I would guess)?
