Mom is healthy and doing well, although she's a little upset about how often she (they!) are hungry. We went to a second-hand clothes shop a couple weeks ago to stock up on disposable maternity clothes and she's already outgrowing a couple of them, notably the roomy overalls that look so nice with a red bandana. The special stretch pants, or belly panel, will probably make it the full nine months.
When you visit pregnancy related sites there's inevitably a few ads for maternity clothes. Fall Maternity fashions reads one of them. Fall? So far our criteria has been: is it cheap, does it fit, is it not totally dorky? (a little dorky is ok) I suppose if you were going to do this full time for a half dozen years you might want to optimize the experience. Still.
I'm cooking more often. The other night I found myself making three meals at once. Hadn't really planned it that way, just started cooking and realized there were two slow-cook meals in process. Faith showed up, hungry, and I started another, faster meal.
Can't have too many leftovers.
Zeke is out of his dog nanny phase, at least for now. He's coming in to work regularly. Maybe the 10 hours of sleep with Faith & Tink were too much? ":^)
