Saw a slinky movement outside the office window Wednesday but it slipped around the corner of the building and I couldn't spot it out any of the other windows. Went out the side door, over by the edge of the grass where a thicket of brush leads down to the river. This gal/fella was scampering around and since it didn't see me approach came within about twelve feet while I was taking photos.
Searched online for a few animal types and the one that looks most like this one is the mink. The telltale sign seems to be the white spot on the chin, which I'd thought was a bit of snow. Sorry about the shallow depth of focus, I was a little too excited to think about trying other aperture settings.
You know, the fur looks so much better on them.
Whoa, cool! They are supposed to be here too but I've never seen one. I have seen the coat version, and he looks just like that. :)
