Sunday afternoon, driving down a dirt road which was a back road off of another back road and starting to look a little sketchy.
Plenty of wildlife, though, being in the middle of the middle of nowhere. One section of road was covered in yellow winged blackbirds that grudgingly took flight when I drove through. Further on a badger trudged off from its sunning spot in the middle of the road and down the ditch gully to a better hiding place. Finally, as the road turned rutted and soggy, a red tailed hawk landed up ahead on a ditch embankment, perhaps for a quick gopher snack.
Wow!
Wow!
You sure it's only 1 bird? great detail!
