Is this a High Dynamic Range photo? Lots of purple fringes. I have found that leaves and thin branches against the sky *always* leave major fringing artifacts when HDR'd. I don't know how to prevent that yet...
I have had *some* success in reducing that problem (before combining images in HDR) by using the Lens tab in Adobe Camera Raw to fix the fringing on the overexposed image. Both fringing sliders seem to provide rather ambiguous results, though. More research needed.

Yes, it is and I noticed that. I tried to adjust it out, but couldn't get it all.
