Photo of a stump taken a couple weeks ago, between snows. Now the ground has a thin layer of snow, topped with a crunchy top of ice. The big storm that hit Colorado is rolling through, but mostly as freezing rain. The evergreens are bowed over from the icy burden and all of the weed and empty tree branches are encased in a tube of ice. It is all very nice looking from the comfortable warmth of inside!
