A quick shot of the family room taken yesterday. The sub-floor is all done and I've started on the tiles for the entrance way, which you can just make out in the lower section (on top of a cement board).

I also installed light fixtures. We'd picked up another style the day before and when I went back to pick up some more to finish the room I ran across a "clearance" section which had exactly FOUR dark blue light fixtures, which pretty much matches the blue beam. Normally seventy five bucks they were on sale for twenty five each. And, since they are fluorescent, the State/Power Company provides an instant rebate of ten bucks each. Can't argue with that kind of coincidence and incentive!

Faith's brother in-law, John, came over during Faith's baby shower and helped out for a while. We installed shelves and hangers in the back closet. Also picked up some closet doors, but they'll need to be stained/urethaned first.

I might just have this done¹ before the baby arrives!
