Ol' yeller feet here landed on the window next to my office desk yesterday and stayed long enough for a few photos. I've photographed a few flies over the years, but I don't recall any of them having custard yellow feet.
I didn't have a close-up lens, but I did have a zoom and the 50mm, which can be stacked for macro photography. Normally you'd use something to secure the lenses together, but with enough care and tenacity (and a subject that doesn't fly off) you can sort of make do.
No idea what I was expecting, but it wasn't this monstrosity. Geez, you EAT with that face??
