Fairly Vicious
Fairly Vicious

Raz might have a better chance pulling it off if he wasn't posed behind such pretty flowers. As it turns out he wasn't snarling or anything, merely at the end of licking his lips. That might have made an interesting slow-motion video, to see how the tongue navigates through the large teeth.

As the photo below shows, he's a little dog in a big yard but you'd be hard pressed to convince him of that. We have deer that show up most mornings to nibble on the downed apples and, if he's awake, Raz will often go out to show them who's boss. But usually he's sleeping in and misses them. Raz is getting better with a lot of his characteristics. He doesn't chew as much as he used to, but if I take Zane somewhere and leave him behind he'll often take it out on a Zane toy (usually wooden). He and I walk to work a lot and he's much better behaved on a leash and even off of it. Other dogs and little kids are the hardest thing for him to ignore. Raz is really good at playing frisbee. Really, really good. If I knew what I was doing training-wise he might even have what it takes to become a pro.

Top pic looks like that tongue wraps around his neck.
