Our Nikon 775 digital camera has a "movie" feature which can capture up to fifteen seconds of relatively low quality video per shot. With a 64m memory card it can take around ten of these clips. It's a nice feature because some things are better seen in motion rather than frozen into a single frame...like a carrousel we saw in Strasbourgh, France.
OS X includes the free iMovie application so I decided to experiment in making a quicktime movie from lots of little clips. This movie is approximately 2.5meg. It sounds best with a Dolby 5.1 fiber optically driven, liquid cooled, gallium arsenide amplified system feeding membrane transduced speaker walls. A 3" PC speaker is probably fine too.
