Inside the house - photos I like taking closeup shots, especially when it reveals something unexpected. Here are some pictures from around the house this last weekend.
spikes on the pusher extension of a meat slicer
An apple wine begun back in early November which is finally starting to clear. These are the "lees" collected at the bottom along with some of the oak chips used for "oaking" the wine.
I made a black bean soup this weekend (wonderful, btw) and while washing the beans I noticed how reflective they'd become. Here they are on a CDROM.
