On the way to work the sun was rising and since EVERYTHING puts out steam at -17° it made for a photogenic moment. I headed to the bridge in downtown Lebanon, NH (scroll to middle set of photos) where a great shot is almost always guaranteed.
Standing on the bridge in a wispy cloud of frozen fog I noticed that it was snowing. Snowing from the river and falling up towards the clear, blue sky. I might have even attempted to capture this phenomena if the feeling wasn't rushing from my freezing fingers.
That's our temperature over the last three days. It's also been windy with -20° to -30° wind chills. Nasty, nasty.
I wanted to walk to work yesterday, but changed my mind after letting Zeke out and seeing how anxious he was to get back in.
If a labrador thinks it's cold, it's way too cold for this naked ape.
Our neighbor left town recently and is working in a warmer environment: Antarctica. Seriously, they've been warmer, but it is summer down there.
Watch out Florida, here I come!
Wow. I have a hat exactly like that that I knit for myself last month. Take a look and see what I mean.

(That's a haircutting model head on the floor, by the way, not my head.)
