Harpers

How do you make a wind generator? Start off with a disk brake assembly from a Volvo 240, add a whole bunch of magnets and hand wound coils, ladle on the epoxy, and whittle up a nice blade and rudder. Viola! Cold crankin amps on windy day.

Maybe the secret lies in the pages of Harpers Electricity Book for Boys which is just one of the antique "hands on" books (along with needed parts) offered on their products page.
