Long time readers might have read a few of the RFID articles I've linked to in the past. RFID is the technology for things like Mobile Speedpass, litte passive electronics that cough up a unique ID whenever probbed by a reading device. Well, now they have RFID's that are smaller than a grain of rice. Which means they might start popping these things into your food in the future. Just walking through the door of a supermarket/restaurant/quick stop they'd be able to see what you've been eating lately (belly full of unique IDs) and tailor sales and coupons just for your current tastes. Soon after black marketeers will offer contraband RFID granules, letting you stuff your pocket with un-consumed consumable IDs in the hopes of saving money.
