Just in the past week, NASA observed the anniversary of its only two other space tragedies, the Challenger explosion on Jan. 28, 1986, and the Apollo spacecraft fire that killed three on Jan. 27, 1967.
It's "very cold" in (for) Florida this time of year and things just behave differently, I guess.

Tragic though the evens of this weekend were, lets hope that NASA continues with manned space flight. I'm sure the crew of Columbia would have wanted that.
