In Grindelwald Switzerland the cows play a predominate part of day to day life. You hear their cowbells clink-clanking, see them grazing in fields scattered in and out of town, and in the evening folks "walk" them home through the city streets...kind of like a bovine dog walk, but noisier because of the large cowbells.
From all of this healthy cow upbringing the folks of Grindelwald make some mighty tasty cheeses, dried meats and other dairy products.
Framed in the far background of the photo is a small part of the glacier edging out from behind Eiger.
