This is something I can see Pedraum using: OKM Ear Stereo Microphones.

One of the engineers I worked with at New England Digital rigged up a version of these using small mics taped to a pair of heavy, black rimmed Clark Kent glasses. You'd see him at Dartmouth recitals sitting firmly upright, head facing forward, geeky lense-free glasses, and barely moving a muscle.

I could never do this, being born without the sitting still gene. We'd have better luck putting the ear mics on Zeke and having him sit. Better yet combine the ear mics with a mini camera and we'd have a pretty cool Zeke action cam or dog immersion system.
