This is my neighbor's wall. I'm rather proud of it, if only vicariously.

I've been struggling with rock walls for a couple of years and all I've come away with is sciatica and some interesting conversation pieces. But this, this is a work of art. Art and science, for surely somewhere inside the wall is a large magneotronic gravity field generator holding it all together.

I'm reminded of his zen wall building technique each time we walk past. Briefly my mind envisions the exacting process of sculpting such a wall, how the forces need to be aligned, each rock whispering its rightful place to form a harmony with the other rocks.

Alas, my rocks are the chewed and broken pieces of a yard sale jigsaw puzzles. Their natural place in the universe is in a heap. The only thing they whisper is "this won't hurt your back at all..."
