What does it take to become a mousetrap collector? And if you really don't want to catch mice what can you do with the trap besides making some keen mouse trap powered cars and boats!

Do you remember the mouse trap game from Milton Bradley? I distinctly remember playing it, but like most of these types of games it was missing one or two key components.

If you are trying to actually catch a mouse, then a more elaborate trap can be found on Neil's robotic pages but you'll need some soldering skills and a shortbread tin. Over the years we have used these plastic "humane" mousetraps (sort of like this one) which are only humane if you remember to check them regularly. In the morning I'd find a closed trap, markably heavier than the day before, which I took along on the drive to work, pulling over to the side of the road in a remote area to let the sweaty, shivering mouse disembark for a second chance. If you really want to get into ALL of the nitty, gritty details of trapping or preventing mice, or any other pests, then these folks at www.bugspray.com cover it all from nuts (or nut scented attractants) to bolts.
