Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day features a big color photo from the Mars Spirit Rover.

While pondering the drifts, or lack thereof, around the rocks I noticed this little fellow on the left. Obviously a Mars attack pod in early post-gestation development. We only have a century until they reach maturity.
