A really nice string of days in New Hampshire. Temps in the mid-50's are sending the snow into a hasty retreat and making quick work of the ice covering the fish pond. Still, it's tough to spot the fish. I felt like the paparazzi trying to lure them out for a candid photo.
I *think* all of the fish made it. Faith saw four orange ones and Whitey. I said "That's all of them!" She reminded me that we've had this conversation before.
If I'd only had the time this past month, I was going to set up a web page that showed a purported "live" webcam view of your pond under the ice cap. It would be date and time-stamped with the current time, although that would be a leetle Javascript lie. And the randomizing PHP function I asked you for was to pull up a random photo of similar fish to your actual ones from a group of about ten photos, so it would appear that there was movement under the ice. Well, maybe next winter we can set that up if you don't get inspired to install a real underwater cam!
I'd be worried of running afoul of the fish privacy act of '96. It may sound bass-ackwards but fish have rights too!
