Mac day today.
I like the new CD liner print option in iTunes 4.5, which came out for Mac & Windows today. Quite a few other features but not much time to play yet. Here's the best overview so far.
Apple also updated Quicktime, iMovie, and iPod.
I've used BBEdit for years, not really as a primary IDE (usually Codewarrior and now Xcode on big projects) but for about everything else under the sun. MacDevCenter has an article by Kevin O'Malley on BBEdit and Unix which revealed some great gems. Chief among them is the ability to have "live" shell windows like back in the days of MPW. I'd almost forgotten all about MPW and this is one feature that I enjoyed. Part II of the article is due Friday.
In an act of schizophrenia I ordered a new powerbook and a copy of virtual pc. I'll reveal the method behind this madness in a couple of weeks.
Apple rocks my world.
When you say "rocks" do you mean:
1. To move back and forth or from side to side, especially gently or rhythmically.
2. To sway violently, as from a blow or shock. See Synonyms at swing.
3. To be washed and panned in a cradle or in a rocker. Used of ores.
4. Music. To play or dance to rock 'n' roll.
5. To disturb the mental or emotional equilibrium of; upset: News of the scandal rocked the town.
6. In mezzotint engraving, to roughen (a metal plate) with a rocker or roulette.
I think definition number one is the most apt. Though the company does have the potential to disturb my mental equilibrium in the immediate short term.
