Sunspot 652
Sunspot 652

Sunspot 652 is around the size of 20 earths at last report but it is starting to shrink. Yesterday it hurled a couple coronal mass ejections our way, which may make for increased aurora activity tonight (if you aren't clouded over like us). Auroras have been spotted as far south as Nebraska, according to SpaceWeather.com.

This photo was taken Sunday afternoon.
