Who, what, where...why?

I've been walking - no, stumbling - around in a Summer-cold yellow green funk for the past week and a half. Horrible. Miserable. We hates it.

Probably picked it up out West. Everyone one else in the family has had it. Faith was just getting over her three weeks with it when I finally joined the fun. Mom encouragingly added, "Maybe it's West Nile? Once you get over that [and live, she fails to add] you are immune!" Yeah, we'll have that going for us...

I'd have to say the worst parts are the near recoveries. After a couple of terrible days I'll wake up hearty and almost hale. "Woo hoo," I think, "Take that dread disease!" Invariably the next morning finds lungs and head full of super mucous.

BTW, the Perseid meteor shower is underway for those of you with views of the sky. Peak activity over the next couple of days. I was out on the porch the other night during a "woo hoo" respite and saw one meteor zip in front of a galaxy I was eyeing. Also, sunspot 649 is pretty much facing us and has been growing, maybe some aurora activity to go with the meteors? Next week should see sunspot 652 coming back around.
