Google does USENET and now I can uncover all of my old mistakes posts to the world. Including the first share/freeware app released by the Menial Warts (anagram for Alan Witmer, the co-developer) called Bolotomy. Which had a rather brief life in the Bolo circles. Bolo was a terribly addicting network game for the Mac written by Stuart Cheshire.

Bolotomy short life?? On the contrary - I still use it. Kids love it. I made a map-making template in ClarisWorks which we still use in the new AppleWorks to create picts then use Bolotomy to make or maps. 3rd - 5th graders are thrilled to tank around in their own worlds!
