Barry and I went to last night's pageant at Saint-Gaudens, as did over 600 folks from the area. It was staged on a grassy area to the west of the buildings, with the area closer to the stage reserved for people sitting on blankets and the outer area for lawn chairs. Since it started at 6pm the shadows from nearby trees were long enough that the lot of us didn't fry.
Tip: just because you work at an audio company doesn't mean it's a good idea to sit behind the sound guy. The bottom half of the show was mostly obscured, at least for me, and the sound guy wasn't doing anything all that interesting to warrant the seat.
I was hoping to get lots of pictures, but after Faith & Snooks came out I gave up, otherwise I would have been blocking the view for other folks. Above is a shot from their entry procession. Here's a shot from their dance, with a sleepy looking Snooks.
That is a great picture of Faith.
Thanks.
I found a better one and replaced this one. Click the link for the old one.
What a natural! ;-)
I like the new one much better. Faith is very photogenic. And the little one looks much more active in the second photo.
Very nice pic.
Nice one. And the little one looks like a little cherub (despite the red color!)
