This was taken on the screen of the ranger station at Point Wolfe campsite in Fundy park. Another large moth (photo Monday) was seen the day before just across the road.
The screen was, of course, vertical so you'll have to rotate your monitor ninety degrees counterclockwise for the proper perspective. Even though this was the main door to the station the moth stayed on it all day long...and nobody squashed it!
Looks kind of like the wooly mammoth of the moth world...must be those long Canadian winters.
That's a fascinating creature. Wonderful shot. You're becoming quite the entomology photographer.
