More Spiders
Rainbow hued lair

Discovered this morning in the woods. This spider has a "ball" type nest and the morning Sun was hitting it just right to give it a more attractive hue.

A followup to yesterday's upside down curiosity. I've started looking underneath leaves more now and have discovered all kinds of interesting things. Notably this daddy-long-legs (Harvestmen according to wikipedia) was camped out underneath a leaf, looking kind of dead but on longer inspection turned out to be quite alive and apparently waiting for a hapless victim to fly or crawl too close. Again the photo isn't all that hot due to being low light and hand-held at an odd angle.
