After weeks of warmer than average weather we finally got our comeuppance. This morning we woke to an eighth inch of snow and a decidedly cooler start to the day. Later it turned to rain and then it turned to, well, ice spheres. Not quite rain or snow or sleet or hail, but little crystal clear spheres of ice. If I'd had my wits about me (and a macro lens) I'd have tried for a better closeup rather than this iPhone shot.
