A couple snapshots from on top of the house yesterday. There's another big storm headed our way this week so rather than wait for the last minute I figured it would be best if some of the excess snow was removed now. The biggest problem with removing it from the roof is that it then falls on the deck or driveway and you need to shovel it yet again. In some areas we have over two feet of very solidly packed snow. The funny thing is that the garage seems to have less snow than all of the other roofs. Maybe the steeper angle? Whatever the case, I'm not complaining.
The top photo is the "dog run" that I made with the snow blower. At these snow depths it's often up to Raz's chest, but he doesn't seem to notice (in his mind he's a VERY big dog!).
