These guys will be in spacesuits with no chance of cracking open a beer or using a bb gun or knife to cut away a few balloons. Space is considered to start around 100,000 feet and these guys will be subjected to -94°F temperatures, re-entry speeds of 1,100 feet per minute and their balloon will have a volume of over 40 million cubic feet at peak elevation QinetiQ 1
